Disabled & Vulnerable People

We have vast experience in working with disabled and vulnerable people.

We have been actively working with Halton Borough Council home improvement agency for over 20 years and have carried out various adaptation works including extensions, wet room conversions, ramps and access improvements.

We carry out regular work at Chesnut Lodge Specialist School in Widnes and Wargrave House in Newton-le-Willows.

As well as the above, we also work for Inclusion Housing. They are a leading health and social care landlord for vulnerable adults. They have various schemes throughout the country which enable vulnerable adults to live independently in their own specialist supported home. They currently have more than 1,000 individual homes and we are actively involved in undertaking maintenance and refurbishment works in their schemes in Widnes, Warrington, Liverpool, Runcorn, St Helens & Wigan. We have been working alongside Inclusion Housing for over 10 years.

We also provide Inclusion Housing with a weekly 'Handyman Service'. This involves managing a weekly rota of properties that we attend and carry out works ranging from plumbing, painting & decorating, joinery and general maintenance duties. The rota is managed within our office. We liaise with Inclusion Housing on a daily basis to manage the list of works required during each handyman service visit. The work is then carried out on site.

Our employees are very experienced in working with vulnerable people and are sensitive to their needs at all times. Our employees hold basic disclosure certificates (Disclosure Scotland).
